Life was good. Then I made some tweaks and now I get random "An encoder error has occurred while streaming" errors and streaming stops. If I try to restart the stream, I get the same message again. If I restart OBS, all will be well for some period of time before I run into problems again.
The problem seems to appear when the bitrate starts to drop. I see bitrate dropping and CPU usages starts to rise, and that is usually a precursor to the problem.
I don't remember all of the changes I made from when it was working with no issues, however the changes I remember between when it worked and when the problems started include the following:
* I believe I reduced the video bitrate from 7500 to 7000.
* Output always used QSV encoder and still does. Recordings did as well, however in this latest test I switched to software encoding and still had problems.
* I added the LowerThirds dock extension and played with it but removed them from my Scenes.
* Played with a Windows Capture but removed that as well.
* Added scrolling text to some Scenes but am no longer displaying it.
Dynamic bitrate has always been enabled.
There may be other changes I made that I don't remember.
