I've just read that AMD released an update to their encoder, and as a AMD GPU owner I rejoiced.
Considering this is fairly recent news and nothing on the topic here yet; are there any current plans to upgrade the new AMF engine so we can finally viably use AMD gpu encoding?
Supposedly it almost matches nvenc, which would be awesome to have for every owner of the red team.
