Today, I was updating from OBS 18.0.1 to OBS 19.0.1.
Installed fine but when I checked my encoder setting, AMD Encoder gone.
I read the changelog of OBS 19.0.1 :
  • Fixed an issue where the AMD encoder was no longer showing up in the 64bit version
But AMD Encoder still not show up in 19.0.1.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

Try a reinstall from the full installer. There was a tiny window where this may have occurred with the auto-updated (only a few seconds, so you just got really unlucky!)

I tried again with uninstall OBS first then install OBS 19.0.1 with installer, still no AMD Encoder.
Maybe 19.0.1 still has issues with AMD Encoder?

EDIT: Oh by the way, are your drivers up to date?

A version of 19.0.1 was very briefly available with that issue with the AMD encoder still in -- It's possible you downloaded the older version at the time. Regardless I'll double-check your post with our guy who's coding the AMD encoder and if there's an issue I'll make sure it gets fixed.

You are running a very old version of the AMD GPU driver. 1.4.x and 2.x of the plugin only support the latest version of the driver (17.5.1, 17.5.2 and newer) so please update.

I'm using amd driver 16.11.5.

I will try to update to 17.5.2 now.
The reason I stay with 16.11.5 is because nier automata always crashed with new amd driver above 16.11.5.

17.5.2 supposedly fixes that crash. I've never experienced it so I can't verify.

You're right, nier doesn't crash anymore with 17.5.2.
OBS 19.0.1 can detect AMD encoder in setting again after I updated from 16.11.5 to 17.5.2.
Thanks for your help Xaymar.
