Hello! I was trying out some recording settings for 240 fps. After the last one that I tried, AMD Encoder is not showing anymore. I tried reinstalling, installing the encoder again, nothing worked. With the last settings, the AMD Encoder was there, but it gave an error, so I tried reinstalling and it became worse - now it isn't showing at all. What should I do?

Make sure you have your AMD drivers up to date (use the website directly, not the app). If that doesn't help, there are plans to release a new hotfix in the next couple of weeks to fix it on certain configurations. AMD's drivers and the AMF Encoder are super unpredictable and very unstable (especially on older devices) so there were extra precautions added in v21, however this resulted in it disappearing for many people which was not the desired outcome.

If it turns out you need it and x264 isn't enough in the meantime, you can revert to OBS Studio v20 to restore the old functionality.

Sorry about the trouble!

I haven't seen an update for a while, version is 2017.0922.1659.28737, which looks quite old to me. Probably gonna redownload them from the website. But I do have the encoder in my System32 folder.
