The Open Broadcast Program is amazing. I had succeeded in getting the ip camera to show up in the video capture device list. Now I cannot get it to show up. The native program from Amcrest of course show it. I can get to it from Blue Iris. However I am missing something to get it into OBS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Do I need to upload a log file here?

RH,

I'm trying to get my Amcrest setup with OBS as well. How did you manage to add the ip camera to the Video Recording Device list in the first place?

Dear RHDecks

I've manage to solve this issue and sucesfully integrate an Amcrest camera to my OBS, and this reference should work for any model accoring to their API SDK (Google this document, all info is in there)

Simple steps to follow:
1. Make your camera available via Amcrest app to grant it is actually working and all connections are Ok
2. Use the protocol as shown in the image, in the "BrowserSource" input space available in OBS (my personal configuration:
rtsp://admin:Camaras123@192.168.1.13:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&unicast=true&proto=Onvif)
3. You are ready to go!

Be aware of the video/audio sync, I estimate that there is a delay of 1 to 2 seconds from live video to OBS capture depending on the network configuration.

That being said, Amcrest cameras is a great option to have some feeds @OBS

Please pardon my ignorance but is there an advantage to connecting to OBS with the camera over using the application window of the Amcrest application and cropping out all but the video? With the Amcrest application window next to the OBS window, or even on a separate monitor, I can use the PTZ controls in the Amcrest app, and what is displayed in that application's window of the camera is simply mirrored on OBS. No RTSP needed, not even the IP address of the camera needed. As a window display source, I'm still able to apply filters in OBS, if needed, though the camera feed itself can also be manipulated in the Amcrest app.
