Question / Help Alsa error

I am attempting to use an m-audio 1924 audio interface to capture sound with obs studio. When I add the interface to the scene I get an error:

alsa-input: Failed to open 'front:CARD=A4, DEV=0': No such device

I can use the interface to record audio with other programs, obs studio is the only one I am having problems with.
