Question / Help [ALMOST SOLVED] CPU to high on budget high end pc

Hey, OBS Users/Moderators/Administators/Developers

Since a month or so. I am expecting cpu drops with obs studio.

Here is my setup: (its from a dutch site sorry)

I don't see any encoding in those logs.

Do a test stream (or recording if you're not streaming) of at least 5 minutes of high action video, and post the OBS log file from that.

it is even taking more than 30% CPU when only active. without streaming. It's just not possible to stream anymore.

Make sure Windows 10 Game Mode is turned off.

I don't know, I use Windows 7 still. But its commonly cited as the cause of symptoms like you described. I'm sure a google search would find it though.

- Start menu
- Click on the wheel
- Click on gaming icon
- Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar slider to off
- Uncheck Open Game bar using this button on a controller
- Uncheck Show Game bar when I play full screen games Microsoft has verified
