So we have an Allen Heath SQ6 Digital Mixer. It has a built-in interface. Several people were telling me that I still need another interface to run the mixer through before connecting it via usb to my MacBook Pro. Any input from you guys before I purchase one? It doesn't seem to make sense that a built in interface would still need to run through another external interface in order to be recognized in OBS. I'm still learning the ends and outs of the mixer but I can't understand why it's not showing up in OBS.
