All I see if black screen, just downloaded

I just downloaded and installed this. I followed the steps for setting up the source and I also followed the steps specifically for laptops to have OBS be run by my NVIDIA card, however I'm still seeing a black screen. The interesting thing is when I first downloaded it I was able to record a few seconds of my gameplay, I exited my game so I could see the video. I then tried to go back in but all I see is black now.... :/

have you tried doing youtube tutorials to set up im about to head there now idk why im here now that i think about it

Did you do the OLD gpu selection method (through the nVidia control panel), or the NEW gpu selection method (through Windows itself)? From Win10 1903 and onward, doing it through the nVidia control panel will not work.
