Align and distribute multiple elements (e.g. images/text) in a scene to quickly position them neatly

I'd like to have the ability to select a group of visual elements and apply positioning functions to them like we're familiar with in lots of software including Photoshop:
  • Alignment - left, right, top, bottom and centre alignment
  • Distribution - left, right, top, bottom and centre distribution and also vertical and horizontal spacing
It currently takes too long to use the transition editor to copy numbers.
Just select multiple elements in the scene and click on alignment/distribution controls.

Please upvote if you, like me, would save a ton of time making your scenes look tidy with these controls.

I agree, guidlines would be extremely helpful, especially if you could snap to them.

Before someone mentions the "Edit Transform" controls, yes, they are nice for when you want to position an element relative to the full layout but when you need to align 10+ tiny elements in a scene it would be much easier, quicker and generally just more user friendly to be able to align to guides that you could show and hide through a menu.

I'd also like to see a checkbox in the Edit Transform panel to maintain the source aspect ratio when you change either of the size parameters.
