Question / Help Alien Isolation: Black Screen during capture

Hi,

I've got the problem that the game Alien Isolation always shows a black screen (except for text like subtitles which show up in the recording...) while trying to capture it with OBS.

Here is a picture which shows what I mean. LiveSplit can be seen and the subtitles of the Game, but everything else from the Game can't be seen.

It doesn't matter wether I have LiveSplit capturing enabled or not.

The Game is captured with the settings:
Game Capture
Mode: Capture specific window
Window: Alien: Isolation
Anti-Cheat: enabled
force-scaling: disabled

When changing 'Mode' to capture any fullscreen application it would capture nothing from the Game anymore. Not even the subtitles.

LiveSplit is captured with the 'Window Capture' settings.

What am I doing wrong?

Now I know this is an old thread, but I have found the answer (for me, anyway)....

I had the same problem in Alien isolation and also Valorant.

I troubleshooted the problem left and right, and finally realised the problem was the Transparency setting in the Capture Window Item within the scene.

Disable the transparencies option, and you are in business.
