Hello everyone
I have a Sony MCC-500MD that want to connect to at PC running OBS software for recording purposes. The camera out puts HDMI to Nedis wireless transmitter. After 4 m in free air the signal Is picked up by a Nedis receiver, which cables to an AJA U-TAP HDMI capture device, that connects to the PC via a USB 3 cable.
The problem is that a do not get a picture. What I get is half a second of bars, then snow, then black, then white, and then the cycle restarts. If I replace the wireless connection with a cable from camera to capture device, I have a perfect picture on OBS. If I connect the wireless receiver to a standard TV I have a perfect picture. Nothing is wrong with the cables.
The AJA box has a input status LED that is flashing when wireless connection is in use (at the rhythm the picture is changing in) and is stable when a cable is in use.
Quite obviously the HDMI capture device does not compatible with wireless receiver. But what Is going wrong here? I would really like to stay with a wireless connection, but which specifications am I looking for in a device to replace the Nedis system?
Has anyone here succeeded with a wireless connection and an AJA capture device?
Best regards,
Stefan
