I'm a video production pro but this is my first foray into OBS.

I have an AJA Kona LHi capture card and have installed the DirectShow drivers from AJA. I can control the card, preview and capture video using the AJA ControlPanel and ControlRoom apps. I can add the card as a new Video Capture Device in OBS but after hours of fiddling with the card and source settings I cannot get video to display in OBS.

When I add the card as a source the FPS and Video Format setting text appears in red, so I suspect that's where the issue is. I know via Google that others have successfully used this card for capture with OBS but a search of these forums provides no recipe for working settings. I would be thankful for any assistance.

What do you have attached to the Aja, and on what physical port(s) is it attached?

Looking at your log I see a DirectShow error (0x80040207) which MS states is:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/directshow/error-and-success-codes

Which basically means that the selected output of the card doesn't match the desired bits (resolution, port, color space, etc) that are being requested.

I have 3G-SDI out of a camera pushing 1080p29.97 into the J4 SDI input of the AJA card.
