I just got this new capture card and, while the reviews seemed a bit all over the place, I will say I am more than a little tickled that the quality of video is absolutely perfect.
However, what I am noticing, is that while I have perfect video, I am getting no sound. In OBS mixer I have everything set up properly, including audio monitoring turned on for the card which is the only way I seem to have it show it's capturing audio. Sadly, this isn't translating into OBS.
I started off with around 15 viewers when just bringing up Red Dead 2 to play, and noticed about 15 mins in I only had 2 viewers. Now, none of them were kind enough to give me an early heads-up that I wasn't broadcasting sound except for my voice, so I wasn't aware until it was far too late and had lost everyone.
I had run a test at the beginning, had sound, but then when I went truly live, I lost all sound. And I can't seem to figure out where it's going wrong. The levels are bouncing up and down, showing the software can hear it, and audio monitoring IS ON, so why won't it play in the stream?
