Question / Help Aero mode with windows 7 still turns on

I can't seem to turn off aero mode with OBS studio on windows 7 64 bit. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Could this be a bug? Im not sure if anyone has an answer please let me know!

Specs:
i5 4660
GTX 1060
windows 7 64bit

I found that if it was on in W7 the program was slow to respond so I just checked it and then waited a minute or two for it to turn off..
