Question / Help Advanced/Simple Options

Hi guys...I have been wondering about this for some time and hopefully one of you can answer this for me.

In the settings OUTPUT mode there are two options...SIMPLE/ADVANCED...
When making changes in either the simple and/or advanced options do they work together or only the settings option you have selected..Like SIMPLE or Advanced..???

The settings are independent, and they don't add to each other.
