Advanced Scene Switcher Plugin Not Working... :(

I have a MAC running OS Sierra 10.12.6. I am running OBS 24.0.5.

I did the recommended installation process of dropping the advanced-scene-switcher.so file into the Contents > Plugins file and nothing shows up under the Tools menu when I open OBS. I dropped the .so file in there almost a week ago and OBS still hasn't recognized it.

Anybody have ANY idea of what I'm missing? Thank you!

Newer version of the plugin require at least OBS 25.
If you are using OBS 24 or older you will have to use version 1.4.0 of the advanced scene switcher plugin.

Yes, I agree. I am using the older version of the plugin. That’s why I can’t figure out why it won’t work.
