Advanced Scene Switcher - Different Settings for multiple streams?

Hey guys,

I've recently built my first stream, which is fully automated so it's pretty big and complicated for my standards as a beginner (~80 different scenes with ~10 different sources each) and I want to test out if a very particular workaround for a problem I have works. Now I don't want to mess up the stuff I've already built because it would take ages to rebuild. I've seen I can create new profiles for settings and new scene collections for new scenes, and if I got that right, if I put both of these together I can create a new stream setup that is independent from the first. My stream relies heavily on Advanced Scene Switcher.

Now my question is: What happens to Advanced Scene Switcher if I create new profiles and new scenes? Can I choose different settings for other scene collections in Advanced Scene Switcher once I select them or will they only work for one scene collection? Just want to be sure not to destroy anything because of my lack of knowledge here.

Can anyone of you share some experiences? It would help a lot!

At least on the Windows side, you can export the Advanced Scene Switcher settings as well
I make good use of that plugin as well, with only 30 scenes, using Media, Timer, Sequence tabs, plus automation on the starting and ending of streaming and recording. Love that plug-in

thank you so much for your answer! haha I'm stuck on a very similar thing actually, maybe you can help me out with my precise question: I have automated it so that it plays a "main" scene, then a random scene from a huge array of scenes, then goes back to the "main" scene, then plays another random one etc.

The big problem that I have is that for some odd reason, there's a delay after the media in the random scene has been played before it switches back to the main scene (around 2-3 seconds). Do you have any idea how to get rid of that delay? In Advanced Scene Switcher -> Media, I currently have it set to "When Scene Y is ended (and 0ms), switch to Scene X (the "main" scene)" and then there's this delay :/

No, I go thru my scene list in sequence, never random. So after each pre-recorded video ends, I switch to next scene. and I don't have any delays
