I am using Twitch's "SoundTrack" so I route all my audio through Track 1 in the Advanced Audio properties for live audio [when you click the gear on an audio source](As it is my Live Audio Track selected in settings) then I have my Twitch VOD Track turned ON and track 6 selected. I have my music playing on Track 1 ONLY and it is unselected for track 6 so it does not route into the VOD audio. The issue is that OBS with randomly UNCHECK and CHECK tracks in the Advanced Audio Properties... So my music? Well it unchecked Track 1 on it's own AND checked track 6 so now there is no audio on the live stream BUT it can be heard in the VOD.
I can set every track as I need it, close the advanced audio properties window and reopen it to check the correct tracks are selected and all is well... That is until I close OBS, like clockwork every single time I reopen OBS the tracks in the Advanced Audio Properties change, including my game audio channel SO my livestream will have game audio BUT the VOD will no longer as OBS for no apparent reason has UNCHECKED my game audio from Track 6.
This is infuriating, I have to manually sanity check every single audio source every single time I open OBS because it will change tracks randomly. I have not seen anyone post about this.
I do have many audio sources and SOMETIMES some are disconnected or connected before launching OBS BUT none of these sources are used in any way for live or VOD audio. My suspicion is OBS messes up when there are more or less sources in the Advanced Audio Properties panel and cannot correctly remember tracks if there are more or less sources. The odd thing is, is that I can change literally nothing, simply close and reopen OBS and the tracks will change so not 100% on my theory. Not sure what to attach as there is no crashing or any other anomalies to speak of. Any insight would be appreciated
