Hi all. I am relatively new to OBS but have a decent understanding and learning all the time.
I have an issue with audio mixer settings. When I click on the wheel then Advanced audio properties I am offered 3 options in the audio monitoring section.
Monitor OFF
Monitor only (Output muted)
Monitor and output
These don't appear to work as I would expect.
When first setting up the monitor is set to off for all inputs and the monitoring has to be set to one of the 3 options.
When I select Monitor Off, all channels in the audio mixer are muted and cannot be monitored. My impression is that only the selected audio should mute
When I select Monitor Only (mute output), both monitor and output are active. I would expect the output to be muted.
When I select Monitor and Output, both monitor and output are active. This is what I would expect.
I have spent a good few hours going through the settings to see if I have it all set up correctly and researching online to find a way to resolve this. All settings appear to be correct and I can find nothing online about this specific set of issues.
I am using windows 10 on a very capable PC with everything up to date.
Does anyone have an idea of how I could get this working properly?
