Adding timecode with Tentacle Sync

Is there a way to jam a screen recording with Tentacle Sync timecode? When I plug the Tentacle Sync into the Head Phone jack on my Mac Book Pro (2023) I get a source called UC02. I use MIDI to assign this as a Mic/input device but I can't seem to get it recorded on the clip to be read by the Tentacle Sync Studio.

What am I doing wrong?

Hey, Bill! Did you ever get this figured out? If so, please let me know. I would like to use a Tentacle sync here to sync cameras with OBS by feeding the sync signal into the computer.
