Question / Help Adding stream label issues and video lag to twitch

Hey guys, hoping ya'll can help me out! Been trying to add stream labels so my most recent followers and donators will pop up on my screen. I've watched many videos how to do it, but text never shows up on the preview or my screen once the label is added. It's just an empty box when I try to add from my stream labels file.

Also, when I stream to twitch, there's a solid 15-30 second delay from my obs to twitch, curious if that's normal or if you can get rid of it? I don't have stream delay turned on in my obs, so not sure why theres such a long delay.

Verify the *.txt file you display really contains text.
Then check the order of the source. It may be that is "behind" other sources, obscured by them. Right-click on the source->Order->move to top to get it on top of all other sources.

Its at the top. I go into the file, but none of them in the stream labels file actually show anything when I double click on them. It just goes to to a blank notepad, so i'm not sure whats going on.

In this case you should probably research why the app that is supposed to fill that text file isn't doing it.

yea, because I save to the file, but when I open where all of them are save the recent follower still says 0 kb. all the videos I've watched show it as 1kb when other people add it to their obs

Got it!! It was because I don't have any followers yet, as soon as I added one it popped up right away! now just need to figure out the delay from OBS to twitch
