Bug Report Adding screen capture in two scenes

Issue:
When adding a screen capture to a second scene in OBS, the screen capture stays blank if a window capture is already set in another scene for the same screen.

Expected behaviour:
Being able to add screen captures from the same screen in different scenes.

Additional info/work around:
If I duplicate the scene containing the working screen capture, it will work as expected.
That is: both scenes have a working window capture of the same screen.

To reproduce:
Start with an empty slate.
Add a scene
Add your screen as a source (screen will display)
Add a second scene
Add your screen
-> source will stay blank

Setup:
OBS 0.13.2 Studio 64-bit, Windows 8.1, three displays

Usually adding in logs help us with the problem but, judging by your description, why don't you just add in an existing Window Capture or Monitor Capture instead of re-creating the same source? It should transition fine :-)

You're right of course, my apologies, I got sidetracked. Here is the log:

At the bottom of the log, you can see that I created a scene with a monitor capture that yielded the blank capture.

Where do I see my "existing Window Capture"?
If I press the "+" icon, I only see the default sources, even if I have set a window or screen capture in another scene.
I remember in vanilla OBS I had something like 'general sources'. I could set a source with all settings to be available in every scene and choose it there during addition of scenes.
I'm working with German OBS clients, so sorry for the probably wrong translation of 'general source'. :(

When you hit the plus sign and you go to Window Capture it'll bring up "create window capture" with a new name and just under that will be an option to enable existing window captures.

Ah! Thank you! Please excuse my ignorance.
This works. The caveat is that I can't have separate Filters for those two instances, right?
I need one screen capture to have a different 'crop' than the other.

With your method, when I use a filter and crop one screen capture, the other gets changed as well.

Yeah filters currently work on all source references.
This will most likely change in the future.

Right now it's not possible to have 2 screen captures, capturing the same screen with different filters.
