Question / Help Adding music to a scene

Hi there, I'm stuck and need some help. I want to add music to certain scenes when I switch to them. I know i can have music running via my bot but when I which to my talk scene I want to have a peace of music start and loop on that scene. The only way I've found to do it is to tune the music into a video and have it loop that way but that's an awkward workaround. Can anyone help?

You'll need to add "media source" to your scene, then select needed mp3 file, and mark loop check box in source properties

I've tried that before but I don't hear the playback :/

Media sourece plays only vieos.
You must use VLC source.
You will see VLC source sound bar moving, but you wil not hear it because OBS has no audio monitoring.

If you run OBS 32 bits, VLC should be 32 bit version. OBS 64 bits needs VLC 64 bits.

You don't have to hear it during playback in obs
