Hi,

can I connect a camera with obs studio from different location and can run live streaming ie. Camera located in different location and obs studio installed in the computer located in another location but connecting with each other and can live streaming is possible via that camera if scheduling from that computer?

Yes... that is entirely doable. HOWEVER, the required connection is basically not a native capability
There are numerous approaches to getting a remote camera into OBS. NDI Bridge probably being amongst the more professional approaches, but with NDI not being native in OBS, there are its own challenges getting that to work.
Personally, my recommendation is to consider your existing camera connection technologies (assuming more than simple USB) and consider what bridging options exists for that protocol/video feed.

Then you have to consider how you are going to connect? Internet (with all the downsides that go with it), dedicated circuit, etc. What bandwidth is available, and what camera resolution, framerate and color depth in use? How much control do you want over the video quality and remote service? there used to be OBS.ninja, and I believe there are other similar solutions

And then there is setting up a VPN connection (or similar) and passing video feed from remote site to local LAN and connecting similarly as you would a local networked camera(typically requires in-depth network understanding and configuration control to pull off.

Hi Lawrence,

Thanks for your precious reply.

So please confirm, If me with my computer (installed OBS) locating in India and a camera installed in a room locating in Ireland. In this case as well can I schedule live streaming with that camera locating in Ireland?

Please do let me know, How can I connect differently located camera to my OBS studio?

I do need to know with your best recommendation, What internet speed I need to keep in my computer & what camera with its resolution type I can opt?

Speed of light is NOT that fast. And you didn't answer the circuit question? open public Internet? Regardless, latency will be noticeable and worst of all would be public Internet. And it will depend on your specific ISPs

Answered that previously... it depends.
there are multiple options, with different budget and performance implications.

Again, it depends. what quality (video resolution, frame rate, etc) are you targeting? The better the video, the more bandwidth you need. Even more important than bandwidth is jitter and latency consistency. Typically wireless Internet Service Providers (ISPs) will have the least consistency/reliability in terms of livestreaming video between locations. But... it depends on your local options and carriers.

Start with what is more important? quality of video or budget? pick one (saying both is not a valid response)
A high quality setup will cost money. You have to answer is what your budget can support, and is that good enough.
What you have is the equivalent to a multi-variant math equation. You need to start narrowing the range down on some variable to head towards a usable answer
