''adding 234 milliseconds of audio buffering''

I'm using NDI for streaming and have been getting a lot of audio desync for a while without really knowing why. I've been checking my logs today and noticed that NDI is adding audio delay but I don't understand why because a month ago everything was working fine. I'm using 4.91 on both pcs.

bumping this, i'm getting the same problem. Using Elgato hd60 and getting lots of lines like
> adding 21 milliseconds of audio buffering, total audio buffering is now 64 milliseconds (source: NDI™ Source)

this happens if I am recording/streaming and only if take any other action on my computer (using spotlight, firefox, etc.)
