about virtual devices

My name is Juan Mendez
I am a programmer working right now for a company in Spain, doing audio and video broadcasting...

I came accross your website as I am doing some research in virtual audio and video devices...

I am trying to find out out there which virtual devices we can use for our product

In particular, I want to know these capabilities about your virtual device:

1) Is it compatible with DirectShow? (we have to support a kind of old system)

2) Cost:
- Cost for each developer
- Cost for each production point

3) Is the source code available, and if so at what cost?

This is not a commercial product. It's open source and run by volunteers.

It's also free, so go ahead and load it up, and see if it works. No trial, just free. If it doesn't work, post your problems and we'll see what we can do from there.

Do keep in mind that the support is also run by volunteers with no obligation whatsoever. If it takes us forever to answer, so be it. Nobody here needs your business. If you're okay with that, to have a free tool, then go right ahead! If you must have immediate support when you need it, then you should probably look at something else.
