CPU load on Linux Mint with OBS opened on idle (no recording, streaming whatsovever):
CPU load on Windows 10 with OBS open on idle (no recording, streaming whatsovever):
So 4% CPU load with OBS on Windows vs. 75% CPU load with OBS on Linux. Same Computer, same OBS version (29.1.3 64 bit).
By the way, in Linux I tried both the Flatpak and the system version of OBS - no any difference.
In the Linux case, of course the CPU fan gives its best to be present, while on Windows it is off.
