I've been really interested in finding a way to get something similar to Shadowplay on Linux, but haven't had any luck. I'm most interested in the Shadow feature, which lets you record the last few minutes of gameplay on the fly and save it with a button press.
This seems like it'd be great for capturing higher quality video without twitch overlays and such. The best solution I've found right now is to stream with one copy of OBS, then capture in higher quality and without overlays in another. Obviously that uses a ton of disk space and extra resources for likely using just a few minutes of video in the end.
I'd be really interested to hear other peoples thoughts on this. Is this a feature that's possible with OBS? Would others actually be interested in it?
