Question / Help A noise every 10 seconds

Hello, everybody

After trying to use audio filters for the first time and then disabling it altogether, i am geting a noise every 10 seconds aproximately, a kind of snoring sound. I have reinstalled Realtek driver in my windows 10. I also have reinstalled the OBS Studio 3 times and the noise remains. I am using a condenser mike, which is a ok quality. I am at a loss what to do now. Help.

Hmm... it sounds like you are getting some electrical cross input from another device attached to the same electrical phase. I know - that might sound stupid but i have an old refrigator and when the cooler starts it produces an electrical spike causing a short peek in the audio signal when my pc is attached to the same electrical phase. So because you say you get that noise every 10 seconds i ask if there could be any device in you room that turns on/off every 10 seconds?

Condenser mics are very sensitive. It could also be that you capture the sound of a device which is turning on/off every 10 seconds. Also the condenser uses phantom power. So make sure your mixer or usb inteface is connected to the same electrical phase as your pc.

At last - if you use audio plugins in obs you have to make sure that those plugins a not some kind of demo software because unregistered audio plugins sometimes produce disturbing noise unless the plugin is registered.

I moved to my girl friend house and the noise continues.
It seems it is something with the driver. I have unintalled it and reinstalled. The noise went away, but as soon as i tried to record, it came back. Now i am installed a Realtek High Definition Audio Driver R2.82 to see if it the noise goes away.

The problem was solved by using a electricity conditioner special for audio.
