Question / Help A folder is deleted that I didn't delete.

My scene collection folder was deleted so now obs wont run how would I go about fixing this because to change my settings I need to be in the app... so I don't know what to do please help me.

Hi, you are in so the wrong place for this kind of question, this forum is for Development requests, in the future could you remember to post in Forums, Support, OBS Studio Support and then the relevant platform.

As I don't know how to move you to the right place can you tell me whether this is Windows Mac or Linux and specifically which directory got deleted including the full path.

With OBS Studio on Windows the configuration is stored in a specific directory under %appdata% if the folder is deleted the application will still start up without a problem it just generates a clean set of profiles and scene collections.

Please give a more detailed explanation of how exactly OBS "won't run" including the full text of any error messages.
