A few streaming questions and I don't know where to get answers...

Hello, I have used OBS before with no issues and I really like it. That said, I want to stream live music performances that take place outdoors in front of a venue that has broadband inside- but I am outside. I do not think a wireless connection will work well enough for what I want to do.
What kind of setup would I need? How can I get a good enough connection to the venue's modem inside? I do not know where to find these answers so I thought I would ask here.

Depends on what you are asking
- can WiFi be configured by people who know what they are doing to work for streaming? Yes. but there aren't that many of those types of folks. But is doable (most likely, and with caveats/constraints that also apply to a wired connection)
- The spec for a standard single Ethernet cable is 90 meters + 5 meters on either end for patch cords. Or rounded to imperial .. 300ft. Going wired removes lots of complications, assuming you can route and protect the cable

I know enough about WiFi to know I'd rather have my focus elsewhere than trying to troubleshoot live signal interference issues. But depends on circumstances

Then regardless of wired/wireless connection to sites broadband (ISP), you still then need to deal with ensuring stream has priority, be that through a Quality of Service setting, stopping other traffic, etc. Streams get interrupted when folks assume other traffic won't interfere....
