Hello! I run a small channel on YouTube named サンプルテキスト.

After watching it I thought about checking out a few similar videos from other channels and compare the quality.

This guy's video is amazingly clean! I noticed he mentions he uses Fraps to record.
Alright, here's the thing. Until today, I thought my way of recording and uploading on YouTube was the "best" (compression process wise), however, this guy has proved me wrong.
This is my process:
1. I get the video OBS Studio has recorded. I use hardware encoding (AMD AMF) with the "High Quality" preset option. This exact video I uploaded was at a bitrate of ~55Mbps before editing and encoding.
2. I edit using MAGIX Vegas 14 and export as an AVI file with progressive scan, same framerate as the original file and the Sony YUV Codec.
3. Then it's time to use handbrake. My handbrake settings are as follows: "High Profile" preset, "Web Optimized", Constant "Framerate" (Same as Source), Constant Quality of 17, Encoder Profile: "High" and Encoder Preset set to either "Slow" or "Placebo" depending on how much time I've got to re-encode the video.
I thought I was doing everything perfectly but apparently there are even better ways to encode for YouTube.
Now my question is this: What do you recommend me do to get the best quality results on YouTube (Or just similar to that other guy) ?
I think this is a good time for me to mention my specs. Here we go.
CPU: AMD FX 8320, (Not overclocked)
GPU: Radeon HD 7870
RAM: 16GB
HDD: (Secondary, used only for recording) : Some slow-ass HDD I got from my old PS3. It's 5400rpm but it can record pretty well as long as the file isn't uncompressed.
TL;DR I thought my way of recording and compressing would give me great results on YouTube, turns out I was wrong. Help?
