Question / Help 8 Core AMD is ok for 2k Stream ?

I'm thinking of buying a second PC to stream in 2k on youtube, with the AMD 8320 GPU would it be possible?

A 4790k (which is like twice as powerful) can't even do 1080p30 on medium on a stream-only rig, so probably not.

As a note the 4790k and 6700k are pretty similar in performance and both are limited to 4 physical cores. If you want to encode then the more cores you have the better.

You are still working with 8 Threads there was a discussion on it already. I think Linus tested the performance of a hyperthreaded core compared to a physical and it was really close to 1:1 performance.
