Im fairly new to streaming and want to know what the best settings for my stream can be,
Cpu: 4790k stock
Gpu: 980ti
16gb ram

I stream games like rainbow 6 siege, h1z, cod, skyrim and dark souls, i stream at 2500 bit rate and x264 very fast preset, i want to know if theres anything i can do to make the stream look better.

This depends on your upstream speed and how comfortable you want to make it for your viewers. Twitch recommends a bitrate of 3500kbps for your scenario. But if your upload is lower than that, it will produce issues to watch it, if it works at all.

i have a 12 upload speed, so i think i can do 3500, but i want to make it so as many people can watch as possible. Im not partnered and i heard the sweet spot on twitch is 2000-2500 is this true?

I'm not that experienced to be honest. I just used google to gather some information. Maybe someone else can get more into detail here.

I'll add that 3000-6000 bitrate is the new recommendation. 4500 may be enough for most content.

Honestly your best bet is to just test it out for like 30 minutes on your live stream and re-watch it. I'm still learning about obs and streaming but you will hear different things from everyone. But I actually tested out 720p 60fps and 3000 bitrate today and main issue with that is people with lower Internet speed will buffer more often and longer than if I streamed with 30fps 2500 bit.
