Question / Help 60fps test recording via XI100DUSB-HDMI

I just tried recording with 60fps from my gopro (set to 60fps) and I got a lot of lag as you can see from: http://s.natalian.org/2015-08-19/60fps.mp4

What am I missing? I'm pretty sure it can capture at 60fps... http://s.natalian.org/2015-05-03/v4l2-ctl.txt


For completeness I also did a test at 30fps which was fine. GoPro also set to 30fps.

In that first log, the GoPro is set to 60fps but OBS itself is still set to record at 30fps.

But that doesn't explain the jittery video, does it? :-)

Not exactly, but it could be a weird timing issue. Sometimes that can happen with framerate mismatches, especially since the GoPro is probably actually 59.94fps, not 60.
