I have this monitor. I am running at 5120 x 1440 native. But since most people are still 16:9, I would like to record at 16:9. So I change my resolution to 1920 x 1080. I now have a 1080p window in the center of my monitor, great!
But it seems that its blurry. Now I know changing resolutions... there will be a certain blurriness because of the downgrade. But it seems a lot more than just that. Maybe I'm just so far past 1080p quality this is what it should look like?
The text example in the image seems nice, but its mainly like my bookmark bar, also the colors aren't as vibrant, I have everything set to max quality. But the colors are REALLY DULL. How to fix?
Would another program like Camtasia be better to record with? Or?
Am I just seeing the default resolution quality drop or something more? The next one up 2560 x 1080 looks better, but how does that scale for people using 16:9? Does it get smashed?
What is my best option here for top quality and usability for people on 16:9 resolutions? This video will be for a tutorial. Image attached to post.
NOTE! I will have to record talking into the MIC also, OBS can record both at the same time, right?
Thanks!
