4k OBS Mac

hi. I just got a Akaso v50 to use as a 4k webcam. The video on the camera does 4k but when I connect it to OBS there is no option to select 4k only 1920 x 1080.

I go to video capture device... select the camera... it shows 640x480 and 1920x1080 thats all. How Do I set a different resolution?

Macs definitely won't do 4k. Even if you had an internal 4k graphics card they don't work on OBS.

Windows might using NVENC (Nvidia Graphics card on a PC) but you'll need to look into that.
