Question / Help 42ms Audio Buffer in Logs

To ease my mind so I don't go out and buy a bunch of stuff to try to fix what I think is an issue, is it ok for OBS Studio to add 42ms audio buffer for whatever mic I try to use whether it be USB mic or XLR mic using an audio interface?

That is not an issue. OBS takes its time to render everything and play every audio souce needed in that video/audio_tick. If the audio buffer increases it is a consequence of more time being needed. Sync should still be perfect.

Bottom line, you will be fine. More details stop by the help portal on irc/discord

Thank goodness! I was ready to buy a whole new MoBo/CPU or a new audio interface to fix this. Thank you for saving me money!
