Lots of ideas. First and foremost, real-time video encoding is VERY computationally demanding. so it is easy to configure Operating System and OBS Studio settings that exceed your computer's ability to execute.

1. Enable Dynamic Bitrate in the Advanced Network settings.
2. If available, used the Apple Hardware encoder instead of x264
3. For the multi-rmtp plugin, use "Get from OBS" for the encoder settings. Better yet, use restream.io to stream to YouTube and Facebook.

1. I enabled "Dynamically change bitrate to manage congestion (beta)" - is that it?
2. I switched from "Hardware Apple x.264" to Hardware Apple HEVC"
3. Multi-RMTP plugin was already set to "Get form OBS" for encorder and audio settings.

1. Yes, that's it.
2. Is Hardware Apple AVC/264 (something like that) available? AFAIK, Facebook doesn't support HEVC.
