Question / Help 4 core vs 6 core

Hi guys,

Quick one.
Configuring a new system with either the i7 6800K running on 6 cores or the new 1151 socket i7 7700K on 4 cores.
Any thoughts on what is better in relation to streaming and recording with OBS Studio? Or in general for just streaming or recording?

The 6800k will be marginally faster for encoding, the 7700k will be faster at general tasks / gaming due to higher per-thread speed.
