4 channel interface use in obs parallel

Hi there,
is it possible to take the sound of a 4 channel interface (like the behringer umc 404 hd) for a stream?
I have the problem that I need to take the mix from a mixer and a built in mixer in the venue.
The built in One is mono, the other mixer is stereo.
They need to be used parrallel. I really need help to get this to work. The best would be via asio.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards

I was looking for exactly the same thing. This post sorted it for me:

There is an Asio plugin that supports umc devices. I have the latest Behringer driver (5.x) Windows still splits the inputs and outputs but I can select the separate channels on the device in OBS.

Can you use all 4 inputs then in one scene?

I am only using 3 but yes. I have 3 separate channels for 3 inputs. There is the option of the 4th but I am only using 3 at the moment and that works so the 4 should too. Basically it exposes the umc the same way it is in a DAW with one channel for one input. All mono of course.

Hi there
For anyone having this problem like I am.. I installed the latest drivers from Behringer v5.12 from https://www.behringer.com/downloads.html
and the latest asio plugin for OBS asio plugin v3.1.0 (Juce version)
Install and restart
then when you ADD a source to OBS, you have an "asio input capture" option and then in the properties for the ASIO input capture you can select the "UMC ASIO Driver" as well as stereo, mono, channels etc.. So if you want four seperate mono channels into OBS from the four inputs of the UMC, you add the asio capture device as a source four times each time with a diff INPUT CHANNEL.
You can group the four sources(channels) into a group and copy\paste that group into another scene as a duplicate or a reference to the original, which saves time having to recreate the group for every scene..
Thanks must go to the guys/girls at OBS and here for working on this issue, [the UMC404HD was a big disappointment when I first bought it, since it promised much more than the original drivers allowed] I suppose also Behringer for eventually getting the drivers up to scratch, thankfully I can now use the UMC as intended... cheers CD

I'm just getting started setting up the UMC404HD for streaming/recording church services with OBS. This should be very simple: I want four separate mono inputs for four mics. I installed the latest driver from Behringer, but instead of seeing inputs 1, 2, 3 and 4 in OBS, I see IN 1-2, IN 1-4 and IN 3-4. It appears to be combining inputs. I don't want to do that. After some searching, I installed the ASIO plugin too, but wasn't able to get anywhere with it before I had to quit for the day.
Are you saying that I'll have to manually add an ASIO source for each of my four microphones in every scene? Is there any way to just have four separate inputs to choose from in the audio settings dropdown so I can have four OBS mixer meters that will provide sound globally to all scenes? I thought that was the way this thing was supposed to work.
Thanks!

It may be putting mic 1 and mic 2 as a combined stereo channel

Yes, I assume that's what it's doing. It is baffling to me that for a device that is advertised as a four-input interface, the default when you fire it up isn't simply 1, 2, 3, 4.
Thank you.

Thanks, CM!
What does the green highlight represent? Do I click there to separate that pair into two mono inputs? (Sorry: I don't have it in front of me at the moment to try.)
Will they then appear in the OBS Audio Settings dropdown as separate inputs that can be chosen to create separate meters in the OBS mixer?
I would prefer not to use another program like Voicemeeter because I want to keep it as simple as possible for volunteers who will be running it.

I have made some progress. Using the ASIO plugin for OBS, I was able to set up each channel as an individual mono input. However, since Windows does not recognize ASIO inputs, I have to put a source for each of my four ASIO-input microphones in every scene. To simplify this, I made a scene containing just the four ASIO audio inputs, and then nested that scene in every one of my regular scenes where I want audio from those microphones. This way, the audio from all four microphones should be available in all of those scenes, and the meters won't disappear from the OBS mixer when I switch scenes.
Still working on this, and would appreciate a simpler solution if anybody knows of one. I have read that driver 3.29 for the UMC404HD will yield four separate inputs in Windows (and therefore in OBS dropdown lists), but it is not available from Behringer and I don't want to risk downloading it from an untrusted source.
