31.0.3 and crashes

Hi all, yet another crash report thread!

Started happening since I updated to OBS 31.0.3

Can't remember what version I was on prior, but it all worked until now.

It will randomly crash. Have looked at other threads and one mentioned the Nvidia noise suppression filter. Have taken them off but the issue still persists sadly.

It is preventing streaming and recording. It starts well, but OBS seems abit unstable/sensitive at the moment so I'm kinda on hold.

I want to roll it back to previous, but also hesitant incase I lose my overlays etc.

Hope someone can advise.
Steven

If you install a previous version of OBS you won't lose your scenes/settings but based on the crash it doesn't seem to be related to any specific version of OBS but instead your GPU driver. I'd recommend running through these instructions

Hi prgmitchell,

Thank you for that, much obliged, would not have suspected the GPU to be the cause of it!

With the re-installation of the drivers though, could I use the Nvidia app to search and find said new drivers, or am I best having them saved on my pc just incase?

Thank you
Steve
