Question / Help 3 webcam + Skype call livestream, cams Freeze, skype loses audio.

I am doing a 3 webcam livestream plus a skype guest. Everything runs fine for like 15 minutes and then web cams start freezing, then skype's audio goes away, have to hang up and reconnect to recover audio, and have to go to the cams settings and change the resolution to default, then back again to custom, to unfreeze them on the fly.

This happens 10 to 15 times in a 2 hour livestream.

I have
-2 Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 (Connected to different USB hubs)
-1 Microsoft Lifecam Studio

All webcams set at 1080x720 res.

Livestream video output is set at 1920x1080

I have 32GB or RAM, and an AMD 8 core Processor.

Any help with this setup please??

Possible up-sampling the resolution taxing the Processing ?

I believe for using multi-cams, you need to use different webcams using different drivers.. I could be wrong, and may not solve the issue,,,
Also, wouldn't Skype have control over 1 cam ?


One thing you could try is to view the Task manager, and see which camera or if skype shows "Not Responding",,,
