3 successfully installed plugins not appearing under 'Tools'

2018 mac running os ventura 13.4.1. 3 plugins supposedly installed without error, but not showing up under the tools menu as expected.
Specifically, I installed two midi plugins: obs midi, and obs midi mg, and advanced scene switcher.
Checked OBS for updates, restarted OBS, restarted system. Any clue as to what I'm doing wrong? Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing, or am I making an otherwise noob mistake?

A log file might give an indication why the plugins failed to load.
If possible please share one.

Just a guess that can be checked with a log file:
It might be that you are running the x86 version of OBS, but accidentally installed the ARM (M1) versions of the plugins or vice versa.

Did you figure this one out? I'm having the same problem with obs midi and obs midi mg.
" 4:18.081: Module '../../obs-plugins/64bit/obs-midi-mg.dll' not loaded "
