Hi all.
I hope someone here can help me out.
I'm trying to connect 2 Canon's to OBS to be able to stream live to facebook and then switch between the two cameras.
I have succeeded in setting up my Canon 5D IV, using "Camera Live" and the using Game Caption (Syphon). So far, so good...
But how can I connect the second Camera? It's a Canon 80D - and that one works fine, when it's the only one.
Any tips or tricks to help me move on? Thank you in advance :-)
It's like Camera Connect can see both Cams but cannot connect to them.
Hmmmm

Usually, capture card + hdmi output of the camera is used.
Hi Suslik - thank for helping me out :)
So would it look like this ?:
Canon 5D IV --> HDMI in - Capturecard 1 - USB out --> Mac --> OBS
Canon 80D --> HDMI in - Capturecard 2 - USB out --> Mac --> OBS

Better to use PCIe cards. And some cards supports more than one input (rarely). But in general, I think - yes. Blackmagic or something else. I'm not quite familiar with the brands and mac platform itself but when you are using standard cameras, usually people do it via capture card.

I use a two camera set up for Facebook/YouTube Live every day. Two canons, both on Camera Live. I just downloaded the newest version of Camera Live and the second newest version. I've been using this for a month with no issues. Connect both cameras, open one camera live and select camera so it's active. Then open the second camera live and connect the second camera. Sometimes I get an error message, but clicking the first camera and back to the second fixes it.
