2 Webcams and no sound

Please do forgive me if this has been asked before as I am very new to all of this.

I have a windows pc and 2 webcams installed. I can get 2 cams and no sound or 1 cam and sound. I have tried restarting OBS and pc many times to try and correct issues once I have clicked something.

My issue is I cannot find the setting to have 2 cams and sound.. I have also tried installed a seperate USB microphone and have the same problems.

Any help would be gratefully welcomed.

this is likely a USB resource issue. too many devices on the same USB root hub. you need to get at least 1 camera on a different USB root hub. if this is a laptop and you have usb ports on either side try moving 1 camera to the other side. if this is a desktop, most usb controllers are grouped in pairs, so if you have a separate set of usb ports move 1 camera to a separate usb bank. there is a tool called USBView that can help you see what is connected to which usb root hub in your computer see the link in my signature below.
