2 Person OBS: Switch Program without touching preview, so one can edit scenes while the program goes on.

Is there a way to switch the Program without touching the preview? I tried with hotkeys and with Bitfocus Companion.
But say we have scene 1 on preview and scene 2 on program. When setting program to scene 3 the preview changes to scene 2 (the old program scene).

The reason we need this is that then 1 person can edit the scenes in studio mode, while another can keep switching scenes with a stream deck.

Or is there an other way so we can use OBS with 2 people?

Got it to work, I just had to turn off swap preview in the transition settings while in Studio mode.
Now 1 can edit a scene while another switches the program with a stream deck.

Glad you made it work - I can't!
If you set "Swap Preview/Output Scenes after transitioning" ON, then the previous output appears in the preview after a transition.
But if you set it OFF, then both Output AND Preview BOTH transition to the new scene.
I can't find any way to make the preview stay fixed while changing just the output.
Is there another setting somewhere I'm missing?

When in Studio Mode, you prepare your next scenes in Preview and then at te right moments transition them to Program.
But if you set it OFF, then both Output AND Preview BOTH transition to the new scene.
Preview already is the new scene.

I can't find any way to make the preview stay fixed while changing just the output.
Preview is not meant as just an extra monitor of some scene that's not going to be transitioned yet. If you'd like that, have a look at the Multiview (under menu View).

"When in Studio Mode, you prepare your next scenes in Preview and then at te right moments transition them to Program."
But sometimes, while I'm setting up the next scene in Preview, something happens in real life that means I need to quickly change the output to a preset scene that I'm NOT already previewing.
"Preview already is the new scene": No, it doesn't have to be. I can transition to ANY scene by double-clicking the scene in the scene list. What I'd like is for this to not affect the existing preview, so the emergency switch does not spoil the setup I'm in the middle of. But yes, I realise that I'm stretching things a bit, I was just attracted by the previous posts suggesting it was possible, when I had failed.
And I don't have enough screen space for a multiview as well!
But thanks for the response.
