Question / Help 19.0.3 hard freezing and prevent PC from restarting?

i've been streaming for a few months now with OBS and have never experienced connection issues, frame drops, freezes, or lagging before.
since the last patch came out( 19.0.3 ) OBS will freeze after about an hour of streaming, and refuse to close, even if i try to force quit. If i try to restart my pc, it gets hung up on the restart screen indefinitely and I have to power cycle my PC,

The only thing that has changed is the version update.

Is anyone else experiencing anything like this? Would reinstalling possibly help?

Freezing / hanging generally indicates driver or hardware problems. Make sure all drivers are up to date, especially any capture cards, webcams, sound and video.

Thank you, I'll check for updates on everything. Sorry for pinning the blame on OBS, it just seemed to line up too well.

There are generally very few changes between hotfix version (0.0.x) that can cause something like this. Most of the issues usually come from a brand new version of the executable file which is unknown to various antivirus / security software, causing them to interfere with the operation of the code.
