16x9 640x480 picture pixel misalignment

One of the things that I need for Stereoscopy is proper L/R alignment.

To allow for 6 cameras and game footage to run, I need to drop my resolution to 640 x 480.

There are a couple of problems. My cameras have a letterbox mode when in 640x480 so it maintains it's 16x9 native ratio.

The problem is that normally the "type a pixel transformation" allows you to count pixels and place the pictures exactly where you need, yet the"reference pixel" which starts at the top left is at the top of the letterbox matte.

I I would prefer the pixel count to start on the upper left corner of the CONTENT, not the the letterbox matting.

Is there a way to make a 640x360 camera capture where the upper left pixel represents content?

Well I discovered my own answer. Use the crop feature, do a little subtraction like for example to turn 640 by 480 to 640 by 360 which is the appropriate 4x3 and 4x9 respectively you take 40 - 360 which is 120, divide that by 2, and make the top and bottom crop each 60.

Consider that problem solved.
